A little about me…I grew up in the middle of nowhere Illinois in the Mid 80’s. A sprawling cornfield oasis as far as the eye could see. My friends and I would hang out at the local grease traps, drinking coffee, smoking, drawing and skateboarding the parking lots. I was always the quiet kid with the smartass observations. I guess now Im the creeepy dude with the smartass observatiosn...such is life. Art was really just a way to escape the boredom until tomorrow. Guess I just fell in love with it. There is something so captivating about producing something with your imagination. I will lose hours of time sitting in front of a piece as it unfolds. Everyone else just gets to see the final stage, while everytime you look at a piece you can feel something/remember something about the time. The thoughts, the emotions, the random thoughts that always flow, that were happening as you were placing the materials
Ive always been the weird one, the shy one, the introvert sitting at home reading horror and looking at the underside of society. As such I have always been into the bizarre, the outliers and the macabre aspects of life. It has drawn me to the artists I adore. Hans Rudi Giger, Salvador Dali, Zdzisław Beksiński to name but a few.
I mostly work in graphite and digital.
I can also work with airbrush, paint, and clay/polymers.
Put anything in my hands really and I can do something with it…
